Since ‘Abhiruchi’ is a cookery segment on ETV Telugu, the speculation is that ETV Abhiruchi could be spun off as a food-focused channel. The company did not want to comment on its expansion plans. “We are firming up plans so I cannot divulge anything at this stage. But we will launch all three channels simultaneously at any time,” ETPL CEO K Bapineedu Choudhary told .ETPL currently 

owns and operates a Telugu GEC ETV Telugu and two news channels—ETV Andhra Pradesh and ETV Telangana. Besides, the company has procured an additional licence for a Telugu movie channel ETV Cinema.
